LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested an alleged pusher of high-grade marijuana or “kush” in a buy-bust operation Wednesday in General Mariano Alvarez town in Cavite province.
Local police drug enforcement unit arrested at 1:25 a.m. Jayson Evangelista after he sold P500 worth of “kush” to an undercover cop in Barangay Maderan, the region 4A police said in a report.
Evangelista, tagged as a street-level individual on the drug watch list, yielded two plastic sachets of “kush” weighing 30 grams worth about P33,000 in the street market.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal activities.
Evangelista was detained and is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
