LEGAZPI CITY — Three suspected drug traders were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in the Bicol region.
In Jose Panganiban town, Camarines Norte province, a 28-year-old suspect identified as Janggo, a bigtime drug personality, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. for selling a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) in Barangay Sta. Rosa Sur.
Major Ace Flores, chief of Panganiban police, said a medium-sized sachet and four small ones of shabu were seized from the suspect during a body search.
Flores said P6,800 worth of shabu was confiscated from the suspect.
In Albay province, Constancio Moises Embido Jr., 58, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. in Barangay Paulog.
Lieutenant Kharren Formales, Albay police spokesperson, said in a report that authorities recovered four sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P6,800 and P500 in buy-bust money.
In Sorsogon City, Sorsogon province, Estelito Jalmasco, 38, was also arrested at 7:40 a.m. in Barangay Ticol in the West District.
Authorities recovered P2,040 worth of shabu from the suspect. INQ
