3 nabbed, over P28,000 ‘shabu’ seized in Bicol buy-busts
LEGAZPI CITY — Three suspected drug traders were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Sunday night, Jan. 15, in Albay and Camarines Sur.
In Camarines Sur, Arnel Sarte, 33, and Meric Santos, 39, were arrested at 11:20 p.m. after selling a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P4,500 in Barangay Concepcion Grande in Naga City.
Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said authorities also recovered a sachet of shabu from Sarte and five more sachets of the same illegal drugs from Santos during the body search.
Two grams worth P13,600 were confiscated from the suspects.
In Albay, Ricky Tudilla, 18, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. in Barangay Magurang in Polangui town.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib reported that 2.2 grams of shabu worth P14,960 were recovered from the suspect.
The suspects were in the custody of the police while waiting for
their disposition. INQ
