LUCENA CITY — Three alleged illegal drug traffickers were arrested on Monday as authorities seized some P1.3 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Bacoor City in Cavite province, the police reported Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Combined anti-illegal drugs operatives of the Region 4A police, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and local cops collared at 7:30 p.m. Oliver Manato, John Decullano, and Susie Gongora after they sold shabu worth P100,000 to an undercover cop in Barangay Molino VI, the Calabarzon police reported.
The team confiscated four sachets of meth weighing 200 grams with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P1,360,000 and worth P4,080,000 in the street market.
Police are tracking down the source of shabu peddled by the suspects.
The report identified the suspects as high-value individuals on the local drug scene.
The suspects were detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
