15-year-old boy found dead in Tagaytay

MANILA, Philippines — A 15-year-old boy was found dead in Tagaytay City after a drinking spree on Saturday, police said Sunday.

The Tagaytay Component City Police Station (CCPS) said the cause of death has yet to be determined pending the result of an autopsy done on the victim’s body.

An incident report said another minor reported the death to authorities at around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.

According to the incident report, the victim was found dead after he appeared to have dozed off while drinking at around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, in Barangay Maharlika West, Tagaytay City.

After authorities were informed, the victim’s father was then informed. The boy was then brought to the Tagaytay Hospital Medical Center but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.
