3 drug suspects collared, over P41,000 seized in Bicol
LEGAZPI CITY — Police arrested three suspected drug personalities and recovered more than P41,000 worth of illegal drugs in separate buy-bust operations on Tuesday night, Jan. 10, in the Bicol region.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in a report that Jefferson Dy, 26, was arrested around 11 p.m. in Barangay Bibincahan in Sorsogon City in Sorsogon province.
Dy was on the illegal drugs watch list and a member of Castillo Drug Group, a notorious illegal drug group in the region.
Confiscated during the operation was a rolled plastic containing suspected marijuana with fruiting tops weighing eight grams worth P960.
In Guinobatan town in Albay, Jayson Maquiniana Camacho, 31, and Nimfa Trafalgar, 30, were arrested around 9:45 p.m. in Barangay Quibongbongan.
