Over P1.1M shabu seized in Bicol
LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities recovered shabu (crystal meth) worth more than P1.1 million in separate operations on Tuesday night in Camarines provinces.
Najib Haron, 26, of Cavite, and Sumaya Dimatingcal, 32, of Quezon town, were arrested around 5:45 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion in Talisay town Camarines Norte, Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in a report Wednesday, Dec. 21.
Operatives confiscated 170 grams of shabu worth P1,156,000.
In Iriga City in Camarines Sur, Romar Milla, 40, and two others were arrested around 7:30 p.m. for illegal gambling in Barangay San Isidro.
During the body search, police recovered two sachets of shabu worth P6,800 from Milla.
The suspects were in police custody and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
