SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — A magnitude 2.6 earthquake jolted Masinloc town in this province at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In a bulletin, Phivolcs said the tectonic earthquake’s epicenter was located 6 kilometers northeast of Masinloc. It had a depth of 17 km.
Phivolcs said the temblor was not likely to cause damage or aftershocks. INQ
