Teen boy dies, 3 others hurt in Isabela road crash
JONES, Isabela — A 14-year-old boy died, and three others were injured, Sunday when a wayward sports utility vehicle (SUV) rammed into a kolong-kolong (improvised tricycle) in this town.
Police identified the fatality as Mark Jayson Bangloy, while the injured were his two siblings, ages 4 and 9.
The three brothers were on board the kolong-kolong and headed north when an SUV from the opposite direction hit them.
Investigators said the two vehicles figured in the fatal crash at the center of the road in Barangay Daligan.
Due to the impact, the SUV also crashed into an electric post after colliding with the kolong-kolong.
