Camp Aguinaldo situation ‘normal,’ no mass resignation in AFP, says spox

MANILA, Philippines — The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Saturday denied a report that military personnel have allegedly resigned en masse.

AFP spokesperson Col. Medel Aguilar added that the situation at the AFP’s Camp Aguinaldo headquarters in Quezon City is normal.

“Everything is normal,” Aguilar told INQUIRER.net when asked about the situation in Camp Aguinaldo.

“There is no truth to the report,” Aguilar said when asked about the alleged mass resignation in the AFP.

“The AFP is a professional organization,” Aguilar said.
