MANILA, Philippines — SIM card registration assistance services will be made available at retail and service outlets of telecommunications firms, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) said on Wednesday after glitches and other difficulties marred the first day of registration on Tuesday.
(For assisted registration, subscribers visit the stores or branches of telcos. They have personnel that can help our countrymen who want to register).
According to Salvahan, DITO Telecommunity has already set up an in-store assistance service, while Globe Telecom Inc. is scheduled to start this service in February 2023.
