Prices of diesel drop, gasoline up

Oil companies said pump prices of diesel dropped by 20 centavos per liter while gasoline and kerosene prices went up by 95 centavos per liter and 50 centavos per liter, respectively, effective on Tuesday. Last week, the price of gasoline rose by 70 centavos per liter, diesel by P2.90 and kerosene by P1.65. Cumulative adjustments now stand at P14.90 per liter for gasoline, P27.30 per liter for diesel and P21.30 per liter for kerosene. Both Asian bellwether Dubai crude and international benchmark Brent crude inched up to settle at $77.10 per barrel and $83.92 per barrel as of this writing. —Jordeene B. Lagare
