Boy, 7, hurt in firecracker mishap in Camarines Sur
LEGAZPI CITY — The Department of Health in Bicol reported on Monday, Dec. 26, a firecracker-related injury in Camarines Sur.
The DOH bulletin said a 7-year-old boy suffered injuries on his hands due to a “kwitis” (skyrocket firecracker) around 7 a.m. on Christmas Day in Pamplona town.
He was brought to a hospital for treatment.
The DOH reported earlier that two minors had eye injuries due to an improvised cannon (“boga”) in separate incidents in Tinambac town in Camarines Sur and Daet town in Camarines Norte. INQ
