Small sea vessels barred from sailing in Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon due to bad weather

LUCENA CITY — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Southern Tagalog suspended Friday sea travel for all small vessels in Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, and Romblon provinces due to bad weather.

Citing a 5 a.m. a state weather bureau forecast, the Coast Guard said strong gale with wind force and rough to very rough sea conditions associated with the northeast monsoon were affecting the Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, and Romblon seaboards.

Thus, it suspended all trips of small vessels 250 gross tonnages or less.
