2 suspected drug pushers busted in Rizal town

'High-value' drug pusher busted in Rizal

LUCENA CITY — Police arrested Tuesday two listed female drug pushers and seized P34,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Cainta town in Rizal province.

Lorie Anne Cebrero and Marivic Bolado were arrested after they sold at 8:05 p.m. P500 worth of meth to a poseur buyer in Barangay San Andres, the Region 4A police reported on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

The suspects, both on the police drug watch list, yielded 11 sachets of shabu ready for distribution to drug users in the village.

The confiscated meth, weighing five grams, has an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P34,000 at P6,800 per gram.

The suspects were detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
