Four Central Luzon provinces among areas with highest new COVID-19 cases
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Four provinces in Central Luzon remained on the list of areas with the highest number of new COVID-19 cases as of Thursday, December 15, independent pandemic monitor OCTA Research said.
Citing data from the Department of Health, OCTA Research said the list of 20 provinces with the highest number of new infections included Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, and Bataan.
Bulacan ranked fifth on the list with 40 new infections.
Nueva Ecija ranked 14th and logged 16 new cases, while Pampanga ranked 15th with 15 additional infections.
Bataan posted 13 new COVID-19 cases and ranked 16th on that list, topped by the National Capital Region, which logged 506 new infections.
