6 more Pampanga villages declared drug-cleared
MABALACAT CITY — Six more villages in five towns in Pampanga province have been declared drug-cleared, the provincial government disclosed on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
The declaration was made in a program led by the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing (ROCBDC) on the same day.
The ROCBDC is part of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs under the Office of the President, and led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
The provincial government identified the newly declared drug-cleared villages as Calzadang Bayu and Sta. Cruz in Porac town; Magliman in Bacolor; San Roque in Macabebe; San Francisco in Magalang; and San Antonio in Mexico.
It said 404 of Pampanga’s total 538 villages had been cleared from illegal drugs. INQ
