Fair weather to prevail in Metro Manila, other parts of Luzon

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon are forecast to have generally fair weather with chances of isolated rain on Wednesday, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or amihan is expected to trigger rain in northern Luzon, specifically Cagayan Valley and Aurora.

“Maulap na kalangitan na may pag-ulan ang mararanasan dito sa Cagayan Valley at Aurora dulot yan ng northeast monsoon samantala naman sa Metro Manila, maging sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon, magiging maaliwalas ang ating panahon maliban na lamang sa mga tsansa ng mahihinang pag-ulan,” said Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda.
(Cloudy skies with rain will be felt in Cagayan Valley and Aurora because of the northeast monsoon while here in Metro Manila, as well as the rest of Luzon there will be chances of light rains).
Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy skies and possible rain due to localized thunderstorms and the intertropical convergence zone, according to Pagasa.
Pagasa has raised a gale warning over Batanes, Cagayan, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, northern Quezon and northern and eastern coasts of Polillo Islands due to the northeast monsoon. Fisherfolk and those with small seacrafts are warned not to go out to sea.

- Metro Manila — 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Baguio — 15 to 41 degrees Celsius
- Laoag — 23 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Tuguegarao — 23 to 28 degrees Celsius
- Legazpi — 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Puerto Princesa — 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Tagaytay — 22 to 29 degrees Celsius
- Kalayaan Islands — 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Iloilo — 25 to 30 degrees Celsius
- Cebu — 25 to 30 degrees Celsius
- Tacloban — 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Cagayan de Oro — 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Zamboanga — 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Davao — 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
