Over P3.6M shabu seized in Naga City buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY — Police arrested three high-value drug suspects and recovered more than P3.6 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation early Tuesday, Dec. 13., in Naga City in Camarines Sur.
Police Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said in a report that Benjamin Fernandez, 35; Melrose Del Rosario, 35; and her husband, Lolito, 40, were arrested at 5:40 a.m. for selling a50 grams of shabu for P150,000 in Barangay Concepcion Pequeña.
A total of 530 grams of shabu worth P3,604.000 was confiscated from the suspects.
Bongon said the suspects were brought to the police station for proper disposition. They will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
