SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — A magnitude 2.5 earthquake jolted Zambales at 7:19 a.m. on Monday.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported in its bulletin that the tectonic earthquake’s epicenter originated 22 kilometers northeast of Botolan town.
Philvolcs said it had a depth of 12 km.
The minor quake is not likely to cause damage, and aftershocks may not occur, Phivolcs said. INQ
