Armed drug suspect nabbed in Quezon province
LUCENA CITY — Police arrested an armed drug suspect during a buy-bust operation Sunday in Candelaria town in Quezon province.
Lieutenant Colonel Dennis de Leon, Candelaria police chief, reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Stephen Quinto, 32, after he sold a pack of “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover cop in a transaction at 10:10 p.m. in Barangay Pahinga Norte.
Seized from Quinto was P8,364 worth of meth and an undocumented .22 revolver with two bullets.
Quinto was placed in police custody and will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of a firearm. INQ
