P146,000 shabu seized from 5 suspects in Cavite, Laguna

LUCENA CITY – More than P146,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) was seized from five suspected drug pushers arrested in Cavite and Laguna provinces on Tuesday, December 6.

The Region 4A police reported Wednesday, December 7, that the Cavite drug enforcement unit nabbed Jeric John San Buenaventura in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Paliparan 3 in Dasmariñas City around 9:46 p.m.

The operatives seized from the suspect two sachets of meth with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P68,000.

The police classified San Buenaventura as a “high-value” target in the local drug scene.

In Calamba City, Laguna, anti-narcotics agents collared Leomar Ibañez and Joel Claus in a drug sting operation in Barangay Real around 5:48 p.m.

The suspects yielded P40,800 worth of shabu.

Two hours later, the same police team busted Martin Mojica and Dexter Marzan in Barangay Lecheria. Seized from them were P37,400 worth of meth.

The four suspects were identified as street-level drug pushers in the locality.

All suspects were detained and are facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
