Staffers of U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin on Thursday visited former Sen. Leila de Lima in her detention quarters at the Philippine National Police in Camp Crame, Quezon City. The visitors were headed by Durbin’s adviser Chris Homan and three other members of Durbin’s staff. The 30-minute visit was approved by Branches 256 and 254 of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court which are hearing the two remaining drug cases against her. Neither the PNP nor De Lima bared what was discussed during the visit. —DEXTER CABALZA
