LUCENA CITY — Two women were shot dead on Tuesday night by unidentified assailants in Tiaong town in Quezon province.
The Quezon police, in a report Wednesday, Nov. 30, identified the victims as Jessica Tambado, 28; and Lani Caya, 26; both with live-in partners and residents of Barangay Talisay in the locality.
The police said the victims were inside Tambado’s house at 10:40 p.m. when two males armed with handguns barged in and repeatedly shot the two women.
The men fled aboard a vehicle and left their targets dead.
Police launched a manhunt operation to arrest the killers.
The investigators are eyeing a “love triangle/jealousy” as the possible motive behind the shooting incident.
