LEGAZPI CITY — Two newly identified drug traders were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Sunday, Nov. 27, in the Bicol region.
In Naga City, Camarines Sur province, Gilberto Besmonte, 46, was arrested around 9 p.m. in Barangay Lerma.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in a report that authorities recovered 2.025 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P13,770.
In Daraga town, Albay province, Ricardo Arenque Jr., 29, was arrested at around 8 p.m. in Barangay Bagumbayan.
Authorities allegedly confiscated 2.5 grams of shabu worth P17,000 and P1,000 worth of buy-bust money.
The suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
