P111,000 worth of shabu, 2 guns seized in Rizal drug busts
LUCENA CITY – Four suspected drug pushers were arrested on Saturday night (November 26) in separate buy-bust operations in Rizal province, a report said Sunday (November 27).
The Police Regional Office 4A reported that the operations netted more than P111,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and two illegal firearms.
Members of the local drug enforcement unit in Rodriguez town nabbed Gerardo Aragon after he sold a pack of meth to an undercover cop in Barangay (village) San Jose around 11 p.m.
The police seized P35,360 worth of shabu from the suspect, who was an identified drug pusher in the locality.
In Binangonan town, John Edgar Castillo was collared in Barangay Mahabang Parang around 9:30 p.m.
The suspect yielded five sachets of meth worth P21,760.

Article continues after this advertisementThe first arrested was Rowel Lualhati in Barangay San Juan around 8:14 p.m.
Authorities seized five sachets of shabu worth P40,800. He was also found carrying an improvised long firearm with a magazine and four bullets.
Next to fall was CK Salonga, also an identified drug pusher, in Barangay San Juan around 10:45 p.m.
He was found with P13,600 worth of shabu and an illegal caliber .38 revolver with four bullets.
A certain Cristina Alejandro was also collared by the police for alleged obstruction in Salonga’s arrest.
The drug suspects were detained and charged with violating Republic Act 9165 for possessing and selling dangerous drugs.
Alejandro also faces separate corresponding charges.
Lualhati and Salonga will also be slapped with cases for illegal possession of firearms.
