3 arrested in Rizal drug bust, P78,000 shabu seized

LUCENA CITY – Three suspected drug pushers were arrested and yielded more than P78,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in San Mateo, Rizal early Saturday morning.
The Region 4A police reported that members of the local drug enforcement unit arrested Fred Empeynado, an identified pusher, in Barangay (village) Banaba at around 4:33 a.m.
Seized from Empeynado were five sachets of shabu worth an estimated P31,280.
Earlier, the same police group also busted Rose Ann Digo and Aida Roxas, both included on the drug watch list, in a sting operation in Barangay Maly aat round 12:13 a.m.
The police confiscated an estimated P47,192 worth of shabu in five sachets from the suspects.
The suspects were detained and will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
