MANILA, Philippines — Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary Anna Mae Lamentillo has turned over a copy of the Night Owl book to Her Royal Highness Tuanku Hajjah Haminah of Malaysia during a courtesy call.

Lamentillo had previously met with Malaysian Ambassador Mohd Fareed Zakaria and Counsellor Nadhirah Zanudin to discuss possible areas of digital cooperation between the two nations, such as cybersecurity, E-governance, and smart towers.

The DICT is exploring partnerships with other nations for further cooperation, exchange of knowledge, technical expertise, and best practices on digitalization to pursue the Marcos administration’s Build Better More thrust, which aims to provide universal connectivity and improve government services through digitalization.
