MANILA, Philippines — Warm weather and clear skies will prevail in Metro Manila and most parts of the country on Friday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, however, are still possible, the state weather bureau added.
“Dito sa Metro Manila at sa nalalabing bahagi ng ating bansa, ay mas maaliwalas na panahon ang ating mararanasan. Mainit at maalinsangan at may tsansa pa rin tayo ng mga biglaan at panandalian na pagbuhos ng ulan na dala ng localized thunderstorms,” said Pagasa weather specialist Daniel James Villamil in an early morning update.
(In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, there will be fair weather. It will be hot and dry, although sudden and brief periods of rainfall due localized thunderstorms are possible.)
Clear skies are expected in Metro Manila, Baguio City, Legazpi City, Metro Cebu and Metro Davao until Monday, according to Pagasa’s three-day weather outlook.
Meanwhile, the intertropical convergence zone is still affecting parts of the country, namely Palawan, the Soccsksargen, Zamboanga Peninsula, and BARMM regions in Mindanao.
For the aforementioned areas, there will be cloudy skies and rain showers, said Pagasa.
