BACOLOD CITY — Two Army intelligence operatives were killed in an ambush in Barangay Camindangan, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental on Thursday morning.
Killed were Sergeants Regie Glendro and Ken Camilan of the 47th Infantry Battalion, the police reported.
The two soldiers were on board a motorcycle while conducting a reconnaissance operation in Barangay Camindangan, Sipalay City when they were ambushed by still unknown assailants at 11:30 a.m.
Glendro and Camilan were hit in the different parts of their bodies that resulted in their immediate deaths.
