Tuguegarao City logs 2 new COVID-19 deaths
TUGUEGARAO CITY — Two residents died in this city on Monday, Nov. 21, after contracting COVID-19, local data showed Tuesday.
Dr. James Guzman, Tuguegarao City health officer, said the latest fatalities brought to 648 the city’s death toll due to the viral disease since the pandemic began in March 2020.
Data also showed that two residents were confined to a hospital on Monday after they were exposed again to the virus.
As of Monday, the city’s active COVID-19 cases stood at 45, with 14 new recoveries.
Since 2020, Tuguegarao has registered 20,289 COVID-19 cases with 19,596 recoveries. INQ
