It said the latest fatality, logged on June 3, was from Lasam town.

As of Sunday, Tuguegarao has six active COVID-19 cases, while Gonzaga town has four. Alcala and Santa Teresita towns logged one case each.

Provincial Health Officer Carlos Cortina hoped that the number of COVID-19 cases would not increase in the next few days despite an uptick of infections in the National Capital Region.
