Man wanted for rape in Iloilo arrested in Taguig City

Quezon City police officers announced on Thursday the arrest of the most wanted man in Anilao, Iloilo.

A police report identified the suspect as Joemar Siaotong, 43, currently residing in Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, and tagged as the most wanted person of the Anilao Municipal Police Station (MPS).

Siaotong was nabbed at about 11 p.m. on Nov. 16 at Building 15A Panorama Compound, Veterans St., Western Bicutan, Taguig City, by agents of the District Mobile Force Battalion together with Quezon City District Intelligence Team, Regional Intelligence Unit-National Capital Region/Intelligence Group, Anilao MPS and Provincial Intelligence Team, Aklan Police Provincial Office.

Siaotong has a pending warrant of arrest for rape issued by Judge Oscar Leo Sancho Billena of Branch 66, Regional Trial Court in Baratac Viejo, Iloilo. —Abby Boiser
