MANILA, Philippines – A total of 1,789 college students have qualified for the scholarship program of the Pasig City Scholars’ (PCS) office.
In a statement on Thursday, the Pasig City government announced the list of its new scholars.
“Out of the 3,389 eligible applicants ranked, 1,789 have made the cut,” it said.
The Pasig City government noted that those who are not part of the list, but believe they are qualified for the scholarship may inquire and seek assistance from the PCS office to appeal.
The period of inquiries and appeals will last until next Thursday, five working days after the announcement of the new scholars.
“Please note, however, that you will be requested to submit additional documents proving that you are qualified to be part of the PCS program,” it added. – Joshua Go, trainee
