ANGELES CITY – The 1,230 permanent, casual, and contractual employees of the city hall here will receive a year-end bonus and an additional P17,000 in cash incentives between November 15 and December 29.
Irish Calaguas, chief adviser of Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., told the Inquirer over the phone that the local chief executive had already signed eight checks worth P38,838,000 for the year-end bonus of 872 permanent, 343 casual, and 15 contractual employees.
“It’s technically 14th month pay. This is in addition to their 13th month-pay,” she said, adding that the employees’ bonuses will depend on their respective salary rates.
Calaguas said Lazatin also signed the P7,370,000 check to cover cash incentives for 1,230 city government employees.
Each employee will receive a P5,000 productivity enhancement incentive, a P5,000 collective bargaining agreement bonus, and a P6,000 service recognition incentive.
Employees will get their year-end bonus on November 15 while the three additional cash incentives will be released on December 14, 22, and 29.
