MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather will prevail over Metro Manila and parts of Luzon on Tuesday while partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected over other parts of the country, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
According to Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda, cloudy skies should be expected over Extreme Northern Luzon, as well as Northern Luzon due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan.”
“Samantala sa Metro Manila at nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon ay magiging generally fair weather condition ang mararanasan, maliban na lamang sa mga tiyansa ng pag ulan biglaan at panandaliang ulan,” she added.
(Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience generally fair weather conditions, except for the possibility of sudden and short-term rain.)
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are also forecast over the entire Visayas and Mindanao with chances of isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
No gale warning is also currently raised in any parts of the country’s seaboards, with wave height only expected to range between 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
The state weather bureau said the temperature range in key cities/areas across the country for Tuesday will be:
- Metro Manila: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Baguio City: 17 to 24 degrees Celsius
- Laoag City: 24 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Tuguegarao: 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Legazpi City: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Puerto Princesa City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Tagaytay: 21 to 29 degrees Celsius
- Kalayaan Islands: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Iloilo City: 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Cebu: 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Tacloban City: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Cagayan De Oro City: 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Zamboanga City: 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
- Davao City: 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
