SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Due to the increasing number of patients getting cleared of COVID-19, 10 of the 13 towns in this province have obtained virus-free status, data released by the provincial health office on Monday, Nov.14, say.

Four more patients recovered from the disease, and only two new patients were recorded on Sunday, bringing to four the number of active cases in the province.

Among new recoveries were from Botolan and San Narciso, among the towns with zero active COVID-19 cases.

Subic, Castillejos, Palauig, San Antonio, Sta. Cruz, Candelaria, San Felipe, and Cabangan were also free of any new cases.

Since 2020, the province has reported 12,516 cases of COVID-19, with 11,792 recoveries, and 720 deaths. INQ
