Girl drowns in Cavite resort

LUCENA CITY — A family outing turned tragic after an 8-year-old girl drowned Sunday in a resort swimming pool in Tanza town in Cavite province.
A report from the Region 4A police Monday said Princess Jirah Peruda, and her cousins went at 12:50 p.m. to the resort’s swimming pool in Barangay Sahud Ulan.
The relatives did not notice that the victim got separated and drowned.
Rescuers gave her emergency first aid and rushed her to the nearest hospital, but was declared dead on arrival. INQ
