LIGAO CITY — A fire gutted the municipal hall of Sto. Domingo in Albay province on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 13).

The blaze, which hit the second floor of the building located in San Pedro village, was declared “fire out” by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Sto. Domingo at around 7 p.m.

Inspector Liezel Lo, BFP Bicol spokesperson, said in a report that the incident was reported to firemen at around 3:30 p.m. The fire reached the fourth alarm.

Sto. Domingo Mayor Joseling Aguas Jr. told the Inquirer in a chat message that they do not know yet which offices were affected by the fire because they cannot conduct an assessment immediately due to the unstable condition of the floor.
