SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The number of active COVID-19 cases in this province dropped to six after experiencing a slight surge recently, according to local data released on Friday.

Data from the provincial health office (PHO) showed that six other patients recovered from the disease while two new cases were recorded on Thursday, November 10.

According to the PHO, eight localities returned to COVID-19-free status. These are the towns of Castillejos, Palauig, San Marcelino, San Antonio, Sta. Cruz, Candelaria, San Felipe, and Cabangan.

The same data showed that all other five towns in the province currently have single-digit active COVID-19 cases. INQ
