MANILA, Philippines — Weather will be generally fair over most parts of Luzon and Visayas this weekend, according to the state weather bureau, while rain is seen to occur in Mindanao due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

Based on the weather bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued Friday afternoon, only thin cloud bands surround Luzon and Visayas although Eastern Visayas and Palawan, as well as Mindanao, may experience ICTZ-induced occasional rains showers.

Nevertheless, Pagasa said it has not observed any possible tropical cyclones that may enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next three days.
