PRC: 3,826 applicants pass the Physician Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday announced that more than half or 179 of 285 examinees passed the October Optometrist Licensure Exams.

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 3,826 out of 5,958 applicants passed the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday.

The PLE was held in October 2022 in various locations including Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The Board of Medicine, consisting of its Chairman Godofreda Dalmacion, and members Eleanor Almoro, Zenaida Antonio, Martha Nucum, Efren Laxamana and Joanna Remo, implemented the exam.

Passing examinees are instructed by the PRC to register for their Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration online on December 22 to 23, December 26 to 29, and January 2 to 5.

The PRC will announce the successful examinees’ oath taking ceremony on a later date.
