2 alleged gun runners collared in Laguna

Shabu, 2 illegal guns seized from 3 suspects in Laguna busts

LUCENA CITY — Two suspected gun runners were arrested early Tuesday, Nov. 8, in Cabuyao town in Laguna province, the police said.

Police collared Jessie Gan and Franie Falle at 1:56 a.m. after they allegedly sold an undocumented caliber .45 pistol with six bullets for P13,000 to a poseur buyer in a transaction in Barangay San Isidro.

The police also found Falle carrying a hand grenade.

Both suspects were detained and are facing charges of illegal possession of a firearm, ammunition, and explosives.
