Alleged gun-runner held in Laguna

LUCENA CITY—Police arrested on Wednesday an alleged gunrunner in Biñan City in Laguna province.

The Calabarzon police reported that an undercover policeman who posed as a buyer collared at 3:27 a.m. Rowell Almarinez in Barangay San Antonio.

The report said Almarinez offered an undocumented .45 pistol with seven bullets to the police agent for P10,000.

The police are investigating further to identify the source of the firearm.
