Woman killed in Laguna road mishap

LUCENA CITY — A 57-year-old woman died after a motorcycle hit her in Luisiana town in Laguna province on Sunday, November 6.
A report from the Laguna police said victim Adelaida Martinez was crossing the street in Barangay Sto. Tomas around 9 a.m. when a passing motorcycle driven by Chris Dave Laurente accidentally bumped her.
The victim sustained wounds and a fracture to her left leg and was rushed to Luisiana District Hospital.
She was transferred to Laguna Medical Center in Sta Cruz town but she died at 6:43 p.m. while undergoing treatment. INQ
