 MANILA, Philippines – Classes have been suspended in several areas on Thursday, October 27, due to inclement weather conditions caused by Tropical Depression Paeng.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that Tropical Depression Paeng intensified on Thursday, and is forecast to intensify further in the following days. Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 is currently raised in the northern portion of Eastern Samar and the eastern portion of Northern Samar.
