MANILA, Philippines — The magnitude 6.4 earthquake that struck Abra on Tuesday injured 63 people in neighboring Ilocos Norte, the provincial government said in a situational report published late Wednesday afternoon.
The tremor affected around seventy-six families composed of 257 people in 37 villages in Ilocos Norte.
Meanwhile, at least 71 houses were left partially damaged by the quake.
The partial cost of reported damage in Ilocos Norte has soared to P46.188 million — P21.150 million worth of damage to roads, bridges, and buildings, and P25.038 million to school facilities and equipment, according to the Ilocos Norte government.
