NDRRMC: 436 aftershocks logged after 6.4-magnitude Abra quake
MANILA, Philippines — The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Wednesday that 436 aftershocks had been recorded after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake hit Abra on Tuesday night.
In its latest report, the NDRRMC also verified that five people from Lagayan town were injured – mostly abrasion – because of the quake.
It added that it had not received any missing persons or death reports so far.

However, the NDRRMC said two roads and one house were damaged while electricity was cut in two areas in Cagayan.

Also, it noted that 30 local government units suspended classes within their respective jurisdictions due to the earthquake.
