Live-in partners nabbed with P748,000 shabu in Camarines Sur
LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics agents arrested two drug personalities and recovered P748,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation early Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Camaligan town in Camarines Sur.
Major Louie Ordoñez Jr., Camaligan police chief, said Efren Reyes, 39, and his live-in partner, Bessie Cabrera, 37, sold at 1:50 a.m. five grams of shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Marupit.
Authorities recovered 110 grams of shabu from the suspects.
Reyes was tagged as a high-value target, previously arrested for illegal drugs, while Cabrera was a newly identified drug personality.
The suspects are now under police custody and will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
