Authorities arrested in Pasig City on Tuesday two men for illegally selling cellphone subscriber identity modules (SIM) with verified e-wallet accounts that are used for online transactions.

The Eastern Police District’s anti-cybercrime team identified the suspects as Jomel Sichon and Mark Ray Veroy, who were entrapped by law enforcers.

Sichon later identified Veroy, who was supposedly the supplier of the SIM cards.
